Objective

What this phase must achieve.

Translate the approved definition into complete engineering information that can be procured, constructed, tested and operated safely. Design decisions, interfaces, changes and verification evidence must remain visible and controlled.

  • Are calculations, drawings, models, specifications and vendor data complete and verified?
  • Can the design be safely constructed, commissioned, operated and maintained?
