Derbyshire Waste to Energy Plant: Design Management

JCM Consultant Engineers provided project design management for the delivery of a Waste to Energy plant in Derbyshire. The scope covered completion of design, engineering, process safety and conformity assessment activities, together with management of engineering service providers and contractors through to operational handover.

The project required recovery and reappointment of supply chain contracts for several engineering service providers and equipment suppliers, including boilers, turbine, gasification, control system and balance of plant, after the primary contractor supplying the advanced conversion technology and power island entered administration.
