Derbyshire Waste to Energy Plant — Design Management

JCM Consultant Engineers provided project design management for the delivery of a waste-to-energy plant in Derbyshire, overseeing the completion of design, engineering, process safety and conformity assessment activities, plus management of engineering, third-party service providers and contractors for all phases through to operational handover.

The project required the re-engagement and resurrection of supply-chain contracts for several engineering service providers and equipment suppliers — including boilers, turbine, gasification, control system and balance of plant — following the administration of the primary contractor supplying the advanced conversion technology and power island.
