Severn Power — Owner's Engineer Team Support, CCGT

The Severn Power Project is a state-of-the-art combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power station located near Newport, South Wales, operating at approximately 850 MW and supporting the UK's transition to low-carbon energy.

JCMCE engineers worked as part of the wider Owner's Engineer team, contributing technical guidance, oversight and project-management support across the project lifecycle. Their work included design reviews of specifications, layouts and system schematics against applicable requirements and client objectives.

Within that wider team, JCMCE engineers contributed to equipment-supplier and subcontractor evaluation, contract-management activities, construction and commissioning oversight, and performance-validation testing.
